The Kenya Association of Radiologists (KAR) and the Society of Radiographers in Kenya (SORK) will hold a joint Radiology Week running from October 31 to November 6 at the Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi. A series of activities have been planned which include medical camps, discussions on radiation safety using both print and electronic media, one-day symposium and sensitisation walk. The activities are geared towards enhancing the clinicians’ knowledge on the bio-effects of radiation and to increase public awareness on the role of radiation in medicine.
